Local Burlington-Area Delivery

- Orders below the free local delivery threshold may be subject to a local delivery fee when available.

- Delivery timing is arranged after the order has been confirmed and the product is ready.

Oversized Fireplace Freight
Some electric fireplaces are exceptionally long, heavy, or difficult to transport. These products may require special freight arrangements when delivered outside our local delivery area.
- Select oversized fireplaces require a custom freight quote for destinations outside our local delivery zone.
- If an oversized product requires a quote, standard $199 or free Canada-wide shipping will not appear at checkout.
- Mixed orders containing an oversized product may also require a custom freight quote.
- Freight cost depends on the product dimensions, weight, pallet or skid requirements, destination, and carrier access.
- Large products may require residential freight service, scheduled delivery, or liftgate service depending on the carrier and destination.
Remote & Limited-Service Destinations
Some Canadian destinations fall outside our standard shipping coverage because of carrier access, distance, or freight surcharges.
- Remote, northern, island, rural, and limited-service destinations may require a custom freight quote.
- Standard $199 or free Canada-wide shipping may not be available to certain remote postal codes.
- Yukon, Northwest Territories, Nunavut, and other limited-service destinations may require additional freight review.
- If standard delivery is unavailable for your address, checkout may display a message asking you to contact us for a shipping quote.
- We may also review an order if carrier costs or service requirements are unusually high.

- Freight deliveries are generally made to an accessible exterior delivery point determined by the carrier.
- Residential freight service may include scheduled delivery and liftgate service depending on the shipment.
- Indoor placement, stair carries, elevator transport, assembly, and room-of-choice service are not included unless specifically arranged in advance.
- Customers should arrange appropriate help to move larger fireplaces from the carrier delivery point into the home.
- Please let us know before ordering if your property has restricted access, unusual delivery requirements, or other conditions that may affect freight service.
Returns & Freight Costs
If a fireplace needs to be returned, shipping and freight costs may apply. This is especially important for larger fireplaces, mantel packages, and products that ship by freight carrier.
- Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless otherwise confirmed by The Electric Fireplace Shop.
- If an order received free or discounted shipping, the original outbound shipping cost may be deducted from the refund when applicable.
- If an order is cancelled after shipment, returned, or refused at delivery, applicable original delivery or freight costs may be deducted from the refund.
- If a product was originally shipped on a pallet or skid, it must be returned securely on a suitable pallet or skid.
- Products should be returned in their original packaging with all included media, remotes, trims, manuals, accessories, and parts.
